Lupe

RVT, Head Technician

Lupe graduated from Western Career College in 1996 and obtained her Registered Veterinary Technician license in 1997. She is an animal nurse and helps us take care of our patients by taking x-rays, drawing blood samples, etc. She has a special talent to make animals feel comfortable and became a Fear Free Certified Professional in 2018. We have been lucky to have her at Park Centre since 1996. She currently has four dogs. Lupe is originally from Peru and is fluent in Spanish.

Nghi

RVT, Veterinary Assistant Manager

Nghi is a registered Veterinary Technician and obtained a Business Administration degree from Cal State Hayward, and an AA degree in Veterinary Nursing from Western Career College in 2007. She is a member of the Bay Area Veterinary Technicians Association. She has been with Park Centre since 2005, has a French Bulldog named Maverick and enjoys snowboarding, traveling and playing cards for money. She is fluent in Vietnamese and Cantonese as well as English.

Christine

RVT

Christine joined the Park Centre team in 2018 and earned her RVT license after graduating from Carrington College in 2019. She grew up with furry, feathered and scaly pets and is fulfilling a lifelong dream of a career in animal care. She currently has two dogs named Moon and Champ, a cat named Miso, and a small parrot named Matcha.

Fabiola

Veterinary Assistant

Fabiola has been with Park Centre since 1989, first as a Kennel Assistant, and now a Veterinary Assistant. She does an amazing job gauging a patient’s temperament. She is an accomplished artist (some of her work can be found in exam room 4) and is fluent in Spanish. She enjoys Salsa Dancing and her cat Azul.

Monica

Veterinary Assistant

Monica Ballerini joined the Park Centre team in 2007 as a veterinary assistant after graduating from UC Davis with a Bachelors degree in Animal Science. She has a wide range of animal experience from wrangling beef cattle to handling birds of prey. She was thrilled to work with all types of animals, but she found her niche working with small, companion animals at Park Centre and is especially fond of elderly felines. Her patience and calm demeanor make even the most difficult pet a little easier to work with. She lives in Alameda with her husband, daughter and 3 cats.

Kat

Veterinary Assistant

Before joining Park Centre in 2018 as a Veterinary Assistant, Kat worked for 4 years at a veterinary hospital in Oakland. She is passionate about working here at Park Centre, assisting the doctors with treating and caring for the small companion animals. During her off time, Kat enjoys playing video games and hanging out with her cats. Kat lives in Alameda with her partner and 2 cats: Rosie and Moose.

Mannie

Veterinary Assistant

Mannie joined Park Centre in 2019 as a Veterinary Assistant. She attended the Veterinary Technology Program at Carrington College and lives in Alameda with her Dogs Donut NaNa and Maru.

Kiara

Veterinary Assistant

Kiara first joined Park Center in late November of 2019. She been working in the veterinarian field since 2013. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, going hiking with her dog Ariel (Maltipoo). Kiara also enjoys traveling and learning new ways to help and understand clients and patient’s needs.

Evelyn

Veterinary Assistant

Evelyn joined Park Centre in 2021. She graduated from the Carrington College Veterinary Technician program in 2019. She has two dogs, Toby and Max at home, and enjoys hiking, gardening, drawing and doing a variety of handcrafts.

Kaitlyn

Veterinary Assistant

Kaitlyn joined Park Centre in 2024. She enjoys hiking with her dog, and enjoys watching scary movies in her spare time.

Abby

Veterinary Assistant

Abby joined the Park Centre Team in 2025 and is currently a student at Carrington College studying to become an RVT. She grew up fostering cats with her mom for ICRA, where her passion to learn and care for animals began. She currently has a kitty named Bex who is best friends with her roommate’s cat Loki.

Teresa

Kennel Supervisor

Teresa is our Kennel Supervisor and first started at Park Centre in 1993, after taking some time off, she returned to our team in 2006. She has two cats, enjoys reading, doing jigsaw puzzles and spending time with her family. She is a fabulous baker and often brings in goodies she has prepared for us at Park Centre.

Erica

Kennel Technician

Erica has been a Kennel Technician since 2009 and has a dog named Simon.

Sonya

Kennel Assistant

Sonya joined our team in 2017 as a Kennel Assistant.


